I popped in for suka (cane vinegar) since it was on sale. It’s a cute little store with a few Filipino restaurants nearby, I love PhilHouse - There on onsite restaurant, soooo good, give them try! (If its your first time ask for the popular items, chicken adobo, pancit, lumpia etc) They were pretty busy on a Sunday morning. The store had desserts at 50% off, and the prices seemed reasonable, with expiration dates about a week out. But if you buy these, make sure to eat them the same day because, for some reason, the next day, the suman (sticky rice) and casava got really hard. I felt a little robbed and probably won’t buy again. It left a bad impression, that’s not what I was expecting. Overall best to keep your eye out on the ad to plan your meals accordingly keeping within your budget, cause Filipino groceries can be expensive!

Literally the unfriendliest Filipinos I’ve met in the US. Went in there to get some food at the food court. Everything was delicious but the interaction I had with the guy helping left a bad taste in my mouth. First, I get 2 fish, pompano and bangus and the guy gets mad when I ask for more vinegar. He skimps out by giving me 1 more (on a $70 order) and then screams at my 5 year old to sit down in the cart. I was so thrown back but the coward left after he screamed at my child (who even nicely thanked him for his service) that I couldn’t even tell him off. What a jerk. Second, I went into the market to get more vinegar for the house (we just moved in so we didn’t have any at the house) only to be served by the highest cashier I’ve ever seen. She was literally asleep at the register and looked so out of it when scanning our items. With so many people losing their jobs, I can’t believe they would hire these type of people to represent their company. Will be a while for me to come back. I’ll go to seafood city instead.

Some of their fast food are tough, like the beef and goat. You would think that it's a fluke but I ordered several times and they were always tough. ALWAYS! So, I avoid ordering them anymore. Their Adobo are too sweet for me. The staff on the fast food are like sweet and sour. Sometimes nice, sometimes rude. The "eaters" who loiter around are very noisy and rude. Most of the time, these people who loiter are just people watching and criticize the buyers loudly, and most of all, they don't give up their table (s) for others to eat in. They shouldn't allow people to loiter around.

My wife and I went there today. We enjoyed. Lots of good choices. We loaded up on all her favorites. We'll be back.

Though the outside of the food Market might not look like much the inside has a bunch of neat food and snacks. I got the large pompano fish which was amazing and gave me a new appreciation for bone-in fish, tried the lumpia which was of course amazing, and the Jumbo squid...which will be skipped next time. For dessert that return of pastries at the bakery in the market and I recommend any pastry with Ube. There's also many samples to try! Great Market!
